For the past 2000 years, our Lord Jesus continues to do miracles in the lives of human beings, and those miracles, if recorded in a book, certainly the world cannot contain it. But as days pass by, miracles have become very rare. Fewer miracles are being experienced here and there; this is not because God’s power has diminished, but because of the lack of faith in people. We know that faith works miracles. But today, due to increase in knowledge, people are becoming faithless, as written in the bible that in the end times, knowledge shall be increased, resulting in decreased faith. Jesus Himself once said, “will man see faith in the coming days”-this affirms that in the end times, faith becomes less in people; therefore the chance of receiving miracles also will become less.

It is our responsibility to inculcate the sense of faith and the fire of inspiration in the hearts of the future generation. That is, people should continue to receive miracles from Jesus; therefore, we have to compile the miracles that happened in the past days in the form of a book and circulate it to the people who are in need of a miracle in their lives. To simply put, the faith list in the book of Hebrews-11th chapter should continue. On the contrary, if this does not happen, the future generations will be left with the provision to read only about the miracles in the bible. Though Jesus has continued and is continuing to work miracles since then, but the chances of people getting to know what He still does have got lessened. Nevertheless, more than preaching, miracles touch people’s lives straight. Did not the life changing story of Little David change the life of king Saul? Also, it is the very reason that bible and Christians are proved by the sequential historical evidence mentioned in the book of bible. But we lost the history/record of miracles and wonders for the past 2000 years. Apart from the testimonies that have appeared in some of the spiritual books hither and thither, publishing their experiences in the sphere of their ministries, we do not have any historical record of it being published or preserved.

God has prompted the founder Pastor Selvaraj to publish this historical book of testimonies under the title “Clouds of Witnesses” for the existing generation and the future generation in an effort to instil the sense of faith. This will enclose 1000 testimonies printed in 1000 pages which could be circulated worldwide. This would be categorized under various headings, for instance, a section containing the miracles of healings from sicknesses of different types, another section consisting of the miracles of deliverance from witchcrafts, another documenting success stories from failures, another from poverty to prosperity, another sharing their divine experiences of restoration, another listing out the blessing of receiving a child, so on.

In the coming days, this is going to be a testimony book for the bible and to the Lord! When such testimonies are shared to the non-believers who face similar paths of trial in their lives, it will definitely create a solid hope in them and would stir their faith indeed to receive their desired miracles. In the course of receiving the miracles, they too will become witnesses. Testimonies create testimonies. We don’t have such books today. Therefore it is an ignition from the Holy Spirit to collate all the testimonies of the people throughout the world and to publish it. As a first step, it is decided to publish all the Tamil people’s witnesses throughout the world in Tamil language and later on, to do the same in a language wise fashion. The first part of the book is in the end phase.
