Ministers’ Kids Dual Graduation plan
The Current Challenge:
South India has quite a large number of ministers living and ministering in the rural, tribal, and suburban areas of the state that are remote and underdeveloped. Therefore,
- The ministers’ children do not get access to proper education, because of the remoteness from the main town.
- They could not be put in hostels that are in main towns, as they are heavily charged; more over, the hostel environment ruins their spiritual life resulting in graduating with a life without Jesus.
- There are not adequate Bible schools/colleges in their locality to send their wards for theological studies. Hence the future of the ministers and the ministers’ kids are dull both in their secular and ministry life.
Objective:
Garment India Ministry, a missionary oriented entity with dual vision for the ministers’ kids and prospective ministers, has intended to establish a Ministers’ Kids Dual Graduate School with the following objectives:
- To uplift the ministers and ministers’ kids. To provide a spiritual environment with enabling them to live and lead a disciplined life in their youths.
- To provide boarding with food facilities for ministers’ kids right from their +2 till they obtain graduation in academics.
- A two-hour theological program in the evening and practical field works in the mission fields on Sundays and holidays.
- To mould the ministers’ kids as effective ministers at any cost with the involvement in secular jobs, thereby ministering as ‘Tent makers’/’Bi-vocational ministers’.
